Lil Wayne recently sat down with ABC’s Nightline for an exclusive interview, which will drop in full at 12:35 AM EST on Wednesday morning. But before it arrives, ABC decided to share a brief clip on twitter which has been making headlines across the board for Lil Wayne’s comments about his disconnection with the Black Lives Matter movement.

In the clip surfaced online, Lil Wayne asked about his thoughts on the Black Lives Matter, where he replied…“What is it? What do you mean? That just sounds weird. I don’t know, that you put a name on it…It’s not a name, it’s not, ‘whatever whatever.’ It’s somebody got shot by a policeman for a fucked up reason.”

Later, Weezy was asked about how he feels connected to the movement, in which replied, “I don’t feel connected to a damn thing that ain’t got nothin’ to do with me. If you do, you crazy as shit. You. Not the camera. You. Feeling connected to something that ain’t got nothing to do with you? If it ain’t got nothing to do with me, I ain’t connected to it.”

The full interview is set to air soon & sure to surface on the the web shortly after. Peep the already controversial clip (below) and stay tuned for the full thing.
