Lil Wayne was flying on his private jet when a medical emergency required him to touch down in Texas.

Lil Wayne has been hospitalized following a medical emergency during a flight on his private jet.

TMZ reports that Weezy stopped down in Texas after suffering seizure-like symptoms on the jet. A source close to the rapper says after landing in Texas he was transported to a local hospital to receive medical attention yesterday afternoon. 

Apparently he checked out of the hospital after several hours, around 6 P.M. local time on Thursday. Although it's unclear if doctors have made a diagnosis, a source says the rapper is "doing better."
