Over the weekend, fans who hit up the Roots Picnic Festival in the hopes of catching GOAT contender Lil Wayne were sorely disappointed. The legendary rapper was supposed to headline the hip-hop festival, but unfortunately cancelled last minute due to medical reasons. A note posted on the festival grounds further details Weezy's absence:

“Due to unfortunate medical reasons that occurred yesterday, Wayne will not be performing at the Roots Picnic. His management has said he is at home resting and feeling better, however due to doctors orders he cannot travel today.”

While Weezy left a large gap to fill, 21 Savage, No Name, Jeezy, Thundercat, PNB Rock, Playboi Carti, Solange, & Pharrell seemed hold it down in his absence.
