There was a little more beef in hip-hop's diet this morning.

Lil Uzi Vert, last heard featured on a new track from A$ap Rocky, had some Instagram shade thrust upon him by Waka Flocka. The veteran rapper called Uzi "[...] rock not hip-hop" after a photo of the stage-diving dynamo surfaced online of him wearing a punk-esque striped tee with some edgy tears in it.

"Let my era be great!" added Waka, noting that this generation has Logic, J. Cole, Meek Mill and Kendrick Lamar, perhaps implying that Lil Uzi's picture sullies the more traditional vibe that those men bring to hip-hop. Although, considering this is a man who's been banned from a cruise line for a poop prank, maybe we can this opinion with a small grain of salt.
