After all the rumors and buzz surrounding Lil Uzi Vert and his upcoming project's release date that have been flying around the Internet for what feels like forever, fans may finally have a solid lead as to when it's coming out. Spoiler alert: it won't be much longer now.
DJ Aakademiks, one of the most plugged-in personalities in the hip-hop media landscape, spilled the beans on Twitch when he was asked by a fan if he knew when the new Uzi album is going to arrive. Though Ak wouldn't give specific dates, supposedly because he's been sworn to secrecy by Lil Uzi Vert's people, he did say that the project is about a month away from dropping.
"It seems like it should be coming within the next 30 days," revealed Akademiks. "That's just all I can say." When pressed by the fan who asked the initial question for more details where the exact release date is concerned, the web series personality remained tight-lipped on the subject. However, the information is allegedly coming from reliable sources and Akademiks himself has accurately broken stories of this nature before, so there should be some optimism from Uzi fans that some new material from the one of 2017's hottest emcees can't be too far away now.
