Those who wanted to see him aren't happy.
Lil Uzi Vert's stature with fans may have taken a hit.
After unceremoniously failing to show up for his previously booked performance at the Soundset music festival in Minnesota, fans were not happy about being out good money and not being able to see him. Unlike Mac Miller or Kevin Gates, no reason was given for the absence by Uzi himself or his representatives from the record label. As expected, the blow back on Twitter was swift and ferocious.

For his part, Uzi didn't break his silence on social media until Monday morning, tweeting out this cryptic message"
My brain ... I'm going crazy 👹..2®— Uzi London 🌎☄️💕® (@LILUZIVERT) May 29, 2017
It may or may not have lasting effects on Uzi and his fan base, but skipping out on a festival spot without giving a reason, especially in the age of the Internet, isn't the greatest course of action.
