Lil Scrappy had a short-lived jail time Monday when he was arrested for violating his probation. He was released today.
Lil Scrappy was arrested on Monday for neglecting to check in with his probation officer last month, but he has since been released. He was only held in Atlanta jail for two nights, before getting out this morning.
Scrappy, who allegedly also failed to tell his probation officer about a change of address, says it was an honest mistake.
TMZ reports that the rapper got out today, and Scrappy's attorney, Mawuli Mel Davis, says the judge has put him back on probation. However, this time he'll have to check in with a P.O. frequently, where as his previous probation was the "non-reporting" kind.
Scrappy's probation stems from a weed possession case in 2008.
