Man Arrested For Giving Fatal Drugs To Woman After Lil Peep's Funeral: Report

Michael Jones was arrested for distributing heroin and fentanyl.

According to TMZ, the DEA, with the help of the NYPD, arrested Michael Jones, on Wednesday for distributing heroin and fentanyl. Authorities said the drugs that Jones was distributing caused a woman named Diana Haikova to die. Jones was ID'd in a federal indictment.

Authorities said Jones and friends united in Long Island for Lil Peep's funeral which took place on December 2nd, 2017. In honor of Peep, Jones and friends partied for three days in Manhattan. On Dec. 5th, Jones met Haikova, who wasn't part of the circle, at a hotel party. Jones allegedly supplied Haikova with heroin and fentanyl at her apartment afterward.

Police said that she was found dead a few days later at her apartment. They believe Jones gave Haikova the drugs. They said an indictment against him claims he distributed heroin a few months later.

EDIT: An earlier version of this article referred to Michael Jones as Lil Peep's friend. Peep's team has reached out and confirmed this is not true, Jones was not a friend of Peep nor was he a member of Goth Boi Clique.
