Before he became a record-breaking, chart-topping artist, Lil Nas X was an online Nicki Minaj stan. People dug up old photos of the young rapper-singer from his "NasMaraj" days, and today (June 16), he was even spotted in her Twitter comments with a request to have her feature on one of his songs. We'll have to wait and see if Nicki accepts, but a few of her Barbz scolded Lil Nas X for denying he was a superfan in the past.

"How come you never claimed her when people asked if you were a barb?? We all knew who you were," one person wrote. Lil Nas X replied, "I didn't want people to know i was gay tbh." Someone else said that being a "Barb" doesn't define your sexuality and doesn't make someone gay. "It don't but people will assume if you had an entire fan page dedicated to nicki u are gay," the rapper wrote. "And the rap/music industry ain't exactly built or accepting of gay men yet."

It was nearly this time last year when Lil Nas X decided it was time for him to come out as gay. On the last day of Pride Month 2019, the young star shared his news, adding, "I thought I made it obvious." Check out his recent posts below.
