While opinions on VIEWS have been divided, Drake's most recent string of releases have been getting a pretty good reception from fans, particularly "4PM In Calabasas". The track fits into the "[Time] in [City]" formula that has produced some of the rapper's most memorable records, generally containing one long, aggressively personal verse. It seems to have inspired some other rappers to turn in their own take on the, the most recent of which is Lil Mama, who has previously impressed on freestyle records all the way back to the "A Milli" days. She takes the opportunity here to be as braggy and New York as possible, which is her best self, making for a rare freestyle that brings something new and worthwhile to its source material.
