Lil Durk has returned "Rich Forever," his first new track since releasing his sophomore album, LilDurk2x, in July. "Rich Forever" features one of the hottest talents in Atlanta in YFN Lucci, whose prowess on the hooks has been especially impressive in the recent stages of his young career. Durk's no slouch with his hook game, either, as evidenced by his efforts on "Rich Forever," on which he translates pain into triumph ("I just lost my n*gga this summer / First hundred thou like look at this money"). That leaves Lucci to settle for the opening verse, one of truly inspirational quality.

Singers are no strangers to street music these days, and melody has found a home in the trap. With these two guys, though, it never feels as though their flows are an attempt to capitalize on what's been trending. They sing because it's the only way to properly express what they've been through. Though their melodies are getting more refined, they'll never be without traces of their not-so-pretty past lives.

"Rich Forever" is produced by Chopsquad DJ.
