Lil Baby and Gunna are two of the brightest stars emerging out of Atlanta these days. Over the past year, their respective catalogs have earned them respect in the rap game and propelled them towards stardom. In June, the two teased a joint project titled, Drip Harder and a month later, they said it was coming later that summer. While that never occurred, the two have officially announced a release date for the anticipated collaborative effort.
Lil Baby and Gunna are about to kick the month of October off on the right foot. Both artists took to social media to confirm that Drip Harder will arrive this Friday, October 5th.
Lil Baby and Gunna's upcoming project is also set to be entirely produced by Turbo. Aside from the lead single, "Drip Too Hard," Turbo produced their collaboration, "Sold Out Dates."
While the anticipation for the project is already high, Young Thug made a very bold claim about the project ahead of the release of Lil Wayne's Tha Carter V. Although Thug has cited Weezy as an influence, he said that Tha Carter V wasn't going to be better than Drip Harder. Based off of what Wayne delivered on his latest opus, Thug definitely set expectations high with his claim. Ultimately, fans will have to make that conclusion themselves come Friday.
