Born Spencer Lewis, on May 7th, 1988 in Long Island, NY, Lewis Contra was surrounded with the strong presence of musical influence. If being related to popular soul singer Gladice Knight wasn’t enough, as a child, he woke up bright & early every weekend to watch Soul Train and Star Search. Eventhough growing up he loved sports, there was always something about music that constantly gravited to him more as his personal calling. He began writing lyrics at the age of 12, and gradually started writing songs from then on. At 19, he dropped his first mixtape entitled “Till The Death Of Me”. Since then, he has put out sevral projects & in 2010 he founded his company ( Legendary Empire LLC ), a marketing, promotional, clothing, & music company. He is currently performing around the state of Texas & is working on his upcoming project “The Black & White Project” due later on this year.
