Lewis Grant and Lil West team up over Dynlan Brady production on "How Could I Know?"

Lewis Grant enters his new track "How Could I Know?" with a vocal effect reminiscent of Justin Vernon's contributions to Kanye West's material. He passes the stacked robo-harmonies to Delaware rapper Lil West, who further subverts the harmonies with his echoing auto-tune. The vocal experimentation leads to some unconventionally catchy melodies explored without restriction over the minimal bassline provided by Dylan Brady.

It's an unpredictable trap-infused ballad that's stronger for the risks it takes. Grant, West  and Brady previously collaborated on Ryan Jacob's "Been Around," which also featured Lil Aaronn and Curtis Heron. Listen to the crew track here.

Quotable Lyrics:

I pick up your bitch on a street bike
I'm the one that your n---a should be like
Bitches was actin' so phony
They didn't want me
Got me some clout, now they on me
