It feels as though the entire 2018-2019 season has been dedicated to Dwyane Wade. The Miami Heat legend announced that he would be retiring at the end of the season and teams have been paying tribute to the three-time champion ever since. Wade is one of those players that is universally respected throughout the league and its shown throughout the season. Last night, the farewell tour came to a close as he got to take on the Brooklyn Nets at the Barclays Center.

Some of Wade's best friends were in attendance, including Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, and LeBron James. When LeBron and Wade played together in Miami, it was standard that James would photobomb his interviews. Well, LeBron got one last opportunity to do so last night and he did. In the middle of an interview, James crept up on camera and gave the goofiest grin imaginable, which left Wade laughing hysterically.

Wade recorded a triple-double in the game, although his team ultimately lost to the Nets by a score of 113-94.

It was also a special night for Dallas Mavericks big man Dirk Nowitzki, who played his final game after a 21-year career.
