While The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore may not be on the air anymore, Larry Wilmore is still carrying on strong with his incisive views on culture and politics. He appeared as a guest panelist on Real Time with Bill Maher alongside Milo Yiannopolous, an editor at Breitbart News who infamously has been banned from Twitter for inciting harassment of SNL cast member Leslie Jones. They did not get along well.
The segment begins with Yiannopolous explaining his treatment of a transgender alumni before he’s pressed by Wilmore and the other guests as to why he specifically is against transgender rights. things deteriorate from there, with Yiannopolous eventually telling host Bill Maher, “you always invite such awful people on your show. They’re so stupid!”
That’s when Wilmore tells Milo, “you can go f*ck yourself. If your argument is that these people are stupid, you didn’t hear a word this man said earlier in the segment, because he can talk circles around your pathetic, douchey little ass from England, alright?” He then tells Yiannopolous, who called Leslie Jones “barely literate” earlier in the show, “Leslie Jones is not ‘barely literate.’ Go f*ck yourself again for that one, okay?” Watch it below, the f*ckery starts around the 4 minute mark.
If we’re being real, this probably isn’t the best to deal with someone who relishes playing the role of professional troll. All the guests (including Wilmore) fed him during this segment. That said, it’s still pretty cathartic to hear Wilmore tell Yiannopolous to go f*ck himself. Twice.
