Lais is back with another one in his "Instances" single. Co-produced by SHER, ROZE, and Lais himself, "Instances" comes equipped with a backdrop draped in Caribbean influences—a common sound coming out of Lais' native Toronto. Nonetheless, the Canadian upstart isn't too keen on labels, constantly crafting a sound that could easily find its home in a variety of genres, rather choosing to float in a gray area of its own.
It was about three years ago that Lais made waves with the arrival of his Session One project. Since then, his fan base has patiently awaited the arrival of its sequel, Session Two, an effort he hinted would arrive last year. While its been delayed, he teased it pending arrival when he unleaashed his "Give Me One More" series last month, hinting that every track released is a step closer to his highly-anticipated project. Until then, satiate your palate with "Instances."
