Over the weekend r'n'b singer Natina Reed passed away after getting hit by a car while crossing the street, just two days shy of her 33rd birthday.
In the late 90's Natina Reed was in her prime as part of the r'n'b group Blaque. She was also engaged to Tha Dogg Pound rapper Kurupt in the 2000s, and although they never followed through on a wedding, the two did have a son together, Tren Brown, who is now 10 years old.
Kurupt reflected on Natina's sudden death with MTV News and expressed it as a great loss. He also thanks everyone for their support in this difficult time.
"Myself and Tren, Natina's son, would like to thank everyone for their love and support during this tragic time," he said. "This is a tremendous loss to our family. Natina was a great person and I wish everyone had the opportunity to meet her and know her as I did."
