Krys Jaxon (January 6, 1989) better known as Coppahead but now as Krys Jaxon is an underground rap artist from Willis Tx(North of Houston). Krys Started off his rap career as a teen just like any other upcoming rap sensation. By the age of 14 he started taking things a little bit more seriously. With only a home set up he and his friends would record day in and day out,all night and all weekend as a hobby. When it was time for highschool Krys was now known to be a "local" rapper in the montgomery county area, and at this time the young rapper had more than 3 mixtapes circulating the area so it was safe to say a small buzz was occuring. After moving to different highschools and performing in small clubs and school talent shows "Coppahead" found his self with a record deal just after he graduated from Montgomery Highschool. Only being signed with straitgravy records for a period of 2 weeks he was dropped but later picked up by another hometown record label "O-merta records". Soon it was time to release a project under the label and Coppahead did just that.Tours and small events throughout the city of conroe wasnt much but it was still something. Due to conflict within the record label and out side sources after more than a year, it was time to leave and since then Coppahead has changed his name, appearance, even changed up his delivery behind the microphone. Joining forces with relatives such as D3 watz of Fame Gang and being mentored by another close relative,Nino Brown and other neighboorhood frends,Krys had enough support behind him to feel more confident than ever before.
