Kodie Shane has been having a great year thusfar on her come up. While she's the first lady of Lil Yachty's Sailing Team, she's probably the most notable one aside from the head honcho himself. With her most recent EP Back From The Future dropping last week, she's on the road to reaching stardom soon. Her voice, her fashion sense and her energy on the microphone and in front of the camera are all stand-out qualities for the young rapper and her latest video for "Level Up" showcases that very well.

With a trip to Jamaica, Kodie Shane is seen flexing through the island in this feel good song. The video has Kodie Shane letting her gold grillz shine as she goes through multiple locations on the island. She's seen at one point on a balcony by the beach before being in the streets with three women dancing around a car. The video goes back and forth between really clean shots and others that have the VHS camera effect on it. Kodie Shane does a great job at highlighting Jamaican culture in the video. There's even footage of her performing in the clubs out there as well.

This song is the first to get a video off of Back From The Future  and she surely kicks things off with a bang. "Level Up" is a stand-out record on the project too so it's nice to see that her efforts got put into making a fan favorite. With the song having a little dancehall vibe to it, it only makes sense that she shot it in Jamaica.

Kodie's currently on the "Teenage Tour" along with Lil Yachty and also performed this past weekend at Lil Wayne's "Weezyana" festival alongside YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Rich The Kid, Gucci Mane and of course, Lil Wayne as well. So with that kind of momentum going on, you should definitely be keeping an eye out on her.
