Instead, Kobe will make an appearance during one of the commercial breaks, teasing the upcoming "Ghostbusters" film which stars Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig and Kate McKinnon.
The Player's Tribune released some behind the scenes footage today, but the full spot will reportedly be shown during tonight's NBA Finals.
Ghostbusters is scheduled to hit theaters on July 15th.
