You already knew the NBA 2K franchise wouldn’t be the only ones getting in on the #MambaDay action. Nike has put together their own tribute, in the form of a short video that puts a fun spin on the haters that Kobe Bryant has inspired throughout his career.
Beginning with a scene all too familiar to Kobe fans and haters alike, the Black Mamba sinks a game winning three to a chorus of “Kobe Sucks” chants before transitioning to a musical number about hating the LA Lakers legend. More than a few familiar faces grace the spot, including Phil Jackson, Jeanie Buss, Paul Pierce and Rasheed Wallace.
