Pro Era beat maker and emcee Kirk Knight dropped his debut album Late Knight Special back in October of 2015, but he’s re-ig(k)nighting the album with a video for his song “5 Minutes” featuring Joey Bada$$.
The song is 100% boom bap and the video follows the narrative of Kirk Knight’s character as he ducks in and out of different buildings in the hood trying to avoid someone who’s after his head. The duo throw in a little political jab, too. I you look closely at the targets in the shooting range, the pig heads are joined by one George Zimmerman.
