King Kuma is an american recording artist from Huntsville, Alabama. Kuma began doing music at the age of nine while attending Lakewood Elementary School in Huntsville. He was a part of the group "Bama Thugs", a young local group that generated somewhat of a buzz in the city in the early 2000's. Also in the group was Trumell Clemons aka Ben Frank (Producer of the smash hit "Aint I" By Yung LA). From 2004-2008 Kuma released 3 solo albums, as well as 3 group albums with Bama Thugs. In 2009 King Kuma, Young Chevy, Petey Mo, and a DJ by he name of Dirty Ant formed the super group "Swagg Buddies". That same year the group packed up and went to ATL for two months to film the movie "Jack Boyz". It was on the set of Jack Boyz were King Kuma discovered his passion for acting and film. In 2010 he wrote a short film titled "Rap Iz A Trap" with the help of acclaimed Film Producer/Director Jurian Isabelle. King Kuma is currently promoting his most recent solo mixtape, "Ready 4 Tha World" and working with the likes of King South, Gorilla Zoe, and Gucci Mane on the new Swagg Buddies project.
