Michael Joshua Withrow, aka King Cydal, is an AfricanAmerican/El Salvadorian rapper from East Menlo Park, California. He began his career producing tracks for many Bay Area rap superstars such as San Quinn, Ya Boy, Big RIch and J. Davinci. Many of those tracks became radio hits, such as San Quinn's "" and Ya Boy’s club anthem “Turf To Da Club." In 2008, King Cydal released his first album as a rapper, “Ya blocks Host.” All but two songs on the album were produced by King Cydal. He released Concrete Collection Volume 1 in February 2009 and Volume 2 in March 2011. In 2010, he released a mixtape called “Royal Solution.” In December 2011 he released the mixtape "Bay Area Top 10 for 2012" and in May 2012 he released the mixtape "Catfish & Prawns."
