King Cydal
Michael Joshua Withrow (born April 2, 1984), also known as KING CYDAL, is an AfricanAmerican/El Salvadorian rapper from East Menlo Park, California. Since 2001, King Cydal has produced tracks for San Quinn, Ya Boy, Big RIch, J. Davinci and many more artists. Many of those tracks became radio hits, such as Ya Boy’s “Turf to da Club” off of his “Rookie of the Year” album. In 2008, King Cydal released his first album titled “Ya blocks Host.” All but two songs on the album were produced by King Cydal himself. He has since continued to work on his mixtape installments of Concrete Collection volumes I & II. Concrete Collection Volume 1 was released in February of 2009 and volume 2 was released in March of 2011. In 2010, he released a mixtape titled “Royal Solution.” The video for its first single “Young, Willing & Able” was well-received by his online following. For the Concrete Collection Volume 2 mixtape, he released a video for the first single “A Way Out,” which also received critical acclaim and several website features. Much of King Cydal’s current success has come from his mixtapes as well as from his ever-growing presence online via Facebook, Twitter and his official website, www.KingCydal.com, where he shares his entire journey.
