Vitalii Sediuk, a Ukrainian prankster, takes credit for the assault.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are ramping up security for Paris Fashion Week after Kim was tackled by a "crazy man" during one of the week's events. Kim, Kanye and Kris Jenner arrived at a fashion show Thursday when several hundred people, including a large group of photographers, squeezed around their vehicle to watch them arrive. As Kim exited the limo, the attacker lunged at her, tackling her legs and trying to knock her to the ground.

TMZ is reporting that the attacker may be Vitalii Sediuk, a Ukrainian prankster who similarly assaulted Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, and Will Smith. According to his rep, Sediuk is taking credit for lunging at Kim.

Regardless of whom is responsible, Kim and 'Ye have hired two additional teams of armed bodyguards to protect them whenever they're in public during Fashion Week, claiming that crowd control has been difficult and that they're concerned for their safety. The ramped up security will include traveling in armored vehicles for the remainder of the trip.
