Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have become well known for their elaborate birthday gifts to each other-- Mr. West's elaborate marriage proposal was actually a gift for Kim on her 33rd-- and they keep that rep alive today for Kanye's 38th. Kimmy K rented out the entirety of Los Angeles' Staples Center for Kanye and his friends.
This is in keeping with the sports-related nature of the proposal (which went down at San Francisco's AT&T Park), especially since Khloe Kardashian's Instagram of the news (below) shows Kanye and some friends wearing custom jerseys and hooping on the Lakers and Clippers' home court.
