Do you remember Kim Kardashian's book titled Selfish? It was an entire novel of just selfies, over 400 hundred pages worth. It is possible that Kim became tired of looking at a reflection of her face in her camera phone because one day ahead of National Selfie Day, she declared she was over the egocentric pics. Kim claims that she would rather live in the moment, a sentiment shared by her husband Kanye West.
KTLA reporter Sam Rubin posted a video on his Twitter Wednesday of Kim revealing her dislike for selfies. “I don’t take selfies anymore. I don’t really like them,” Kardashian stated. “It’s not all about sitting there taking selfies. I used to spend so much of my time taking selfies." Rubin replies that he has a young daughter who is obsessed with selfies herself. After revealing that his daughter is more excited that her father is meeting Kim Kardashian than anything he's ever done in his career, Rubin vents his frustrations about children being "tethered" to their phones.
"They're attached to the phone," Kim replies. "I just would like to live in real time a little bit more. I don't mind pictures, I just am not on my phone like I used to be."
