Kid Cudi hasn't released a solo album since Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin' in 2016. Although he dropped off his highly anticipated collaborative project with Kanye WestKIDS SEE GHOSTS, fans are eagerly waiting for Cudder to drop off another project. Thankfully, it looks like he's already cooking something up with a 2019 release date in mind.

Kid Cudi held an impromptu Q&A with his fans on Twitter today and answered a few questions pertaining to new music. The Cleveland native revealed that he just began working on a new project and fans might be able to expect it to drop at some point next year.

"I just started the new album! Taking my time w it tho but im thinkin next year sometime? Would that be cool? Huh? Tell me? Would that be ok?" He wrote in response to a fan asking when we will be blessed with new tunes.

2019 isn't too far away, but fans still want some new music from Kid Cudi soon. He revealed that he does have a few things on the horizon to tie fans over until a new album drops.

"Got some tasty features comin out soon in the meantime," he wrote.

Unfortunately, we might not be hearing Pharell on the upcoming album. In his profile with GQ, Cudi said that he doesn't know if Pharrell will work with him again after their collaborations on Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin' didn't "do what they were supposed to do."
