Chaos erupted at a Glory kickboxing event in Paris over the weekend as fans stormed the ring to attack Murthel Groenhart after he laid out Harut Grigorian during the second of round of their welterweight bout.
Grigorian committed a cardinal sin by turning his back on Groenhart while the match was still going on, and he paid for it with a vicious right hand that left him leaking on the mat. Albeit unsportsmanlike, it was a legal punch.
Groenhart was awarded a TKO victory and while he celebrated fans stormed the ring to take shots at him. According to Yahoo Sports, Groenhart said during the broadcast that he feared he had broken his jaw.
