Keyvous has been making music all his life starting professionally at age eleven with his friends Robin Thicke, Brian Greene and Adam Schwartz when they started a group called “Think Twice”. Keyvous was Born Keyote’ Gilmore in Portland Oregon and raised in Venice and South Central Los Angeles. At age 8 his single mother moved him and his siblings to the San Fernando Valley. KeyVous quickly adapted finding himself in school plays and talent shows at an early age, and soon after helping create the group Think Twice. This is when KeyVous got his first taste of writing songs, recording and performing on a professional level. KeyVous works on many levels as a singer, song writer, and rapper. He has traveled Worldwide with his group The League (Sam Sarpong, Mike Kasem and himself) who have gone platinum twice in South East Asia. KeyVous has been featured on several albums including ,“Look At Me Now”, out through Katalyst Ent. As well as The Leauge’s album “Alter Ego”. Keys latest work as Fade of GlamorvsFade, on their debut EP “Unclassified” is an experiment with music that defies classic genres and creates a new sound that breaks down old barriers and appeals to fresh minds. The sound features a flavored mix of Electronica, 80’s pop and 90’s rock with a healthy dose of hip-hop. KeyVous’s travel as a song writer/singer/rapper has had so many influential turning points, for his love of music keeps him collaborating with many different artist of choice. “Music is meant to be shared and shouldn’t be a selfish art.” When asked to describe his style Keyvous has a hard time defnining it in words, he likes to refer to his music as “Upscale Urban” a combination of powerful content with a tight hip hop feel and a rich taste of R&B. His various experiences have taught him that diversity is the key to longevity.
