Once upon a time, Keyshia Cole and Jeezy were in a relationship. The singer and the rapper even collaborated on the song "Dreamin'" back in 2007, but like many relationships, their romance didn't work out. Since then they've both found love as Keyshia and her beau Niko Khalé are enjoying their blending family while Jeezy is preparing to marry The Real host Jeannie Mai.

Back in the day, it was rumored that Jeezy proposed to Keyshia but she turned him down. She recently spoke about her ex and his new relationship, saying nothing but kind words about the two and their future together. “I’m super proud of Jeezy and Jeannie,” Keyshia reportedly said. “She’s a sweetie. She’s always been sweet."

Keyshia Cole also praised Jeezy for going public with his relationship with Jeannie Mai. "But I’m super proud of the fact that he actually has taken that step to love openly because I know that the thing was, it was something he didn’t feel like he could do because of where he comes from," she added. "So to know that that’s happened and that he’s happy, it’s not about the color or the complexion. You Black or you white, whatever you are, Asian, Chinese, whatever you are, love is love. I think that everybody deserves to be happy. I’m super happy for both of ’em actually."
