Kevin Gates has been dropping music every day this week. After the mixtape cut "One Day," yesterday we got his nice remix of Lil Boosie's "Crazy." Today we get another song from Gates, which pairs him with an unexpected collaborator, Rustie. We can once again thank Converse for putting these two dudes together, as part of their on-going Cons series. For their Cons EP Vol. 2, we've already heard unexpected collabos from Black Milk and BADBADNOTGOOD, "Now or Never," as well as Vince Staples and Bad Rabbit's "Made," among others.
They saved Kevin Gates and Rustie's high-energy mesh of electronic and hip-hop "Wait In Line" for last, as this is the final leak from the EP. The track was recorded in part at Rustie's home in Glasgow, Scotland, while Gates did his vocals while touring across the U.S. With the final single's release, the full EP is to available stream on Converse Soundcloud.
