Kevin Gates has been pushing the #IDGT hashtag and concept for a minute now, and now he's come through with a single with the title. Teaming with August Alsina -- who's becoming the go-to R&B hookman after Ty Dolla $ign -- Gates dances over the tweaked out synth beat, supplying exasperated flows, melodic backing vocals, and punchy exclamations.
The track is set to be released on Kevin's upcoming Luca Brasi 2 mixtape, the sequel to his acclaimed project from 2013. It will serve as his second full length release of the year, following By Any Means, and we know by now that if anyone can deliver two solid offerings in a 12 month period, it's Gates.
