Kendrick Lamar ended "The Heart Part 4" with the following message: "Y'all got 'til April the 7th to get y'all shit together." Almost everyone assumed took this as an indication that he would release his next album on April 7th, a sentiment that the release of his internet-shattering "HUMBLE." video the following week seemed to confirm.

This morning, Kendrick announced on iTunes that he would release his album on April 14th, On Twitter, Top Dawg Ent. president appeared to confirm a fan's theory the "HUMBLE." was originally meant to drop on April 7th. It's possible that TDE's decision to release "HUMBLE." on March 30th was a direct response to the leak of the "HUMBLE." artwork on a French website a few hours earlier that day.

It's water under the bridge at this point. The new Kendrick album arrives next week.
