Kelela paid a visit to Zane Lowe at Beats 1 this morning to debut "LMK," the first single off of her upcoming debut album Take Me Apart. The R&B singer's first single off of the album serves as a great first impression of what's to come from the rest of the album. It's a sexy vibe that's definitely going to be on many people's late night playlist.

During the interview, she mentioned that she's been working on the album for four years. It's exciting to hear, especially after the works she's been putting in from her Hallucinogen EP as well as her feature on the Gorillaz album with Danny Brown.

Take Me Apart drops Oct. 6th via Warp Records.
