Toronto native Kardinal Offishall comes through today with a new mix of Rick Ross, Mavado and Sizzla's "Mafia Music III" from Rozay's Mastermind LP. Offishall decides to call it "Hol On" and he's letting it go for download via his Soundcloud.
He wrote a personal message about the remix, which can be read below.
"For all my people who still live a rough life-husslin to get by...for all my people who watch celebrities live their fancy lives while you're still eating bully beef and rice for dinner...for de man dem in the neighbourhood who are THIS close to sellin, because Footlocker won't hire you for a part-time job...for my ni@@az i grew up with that are at the call centers...for my youts that were locked up, but came out and changed their lives around...for my people that still believe that good will one day prevail...HOL' ON!"
