Ever since Kanye West hopped back on to Twitter, he flipped the world upside down. For about a week or two, he stirred up a whole lot of controversy with his support for Donald Trump, the MAGA hat selfie and his comments about slavery. Shortly after all of that, his activity on social media died down tremendously and he headed back to Wyoming to work on music. It looks like in order to focus, he had to hop off social media and end all contact to the human world.
Kanye West took to Twitter to send a message to everyone who's been trying to contact him. "for anyone whose tried to text or call me in the past 2 weeks I got rid of that phone so I could focus on these albums," he tweeted. It's probably a good move because cell phones cause distractions that you probably won't need if you're working on some of the most anticipated albums of the year. 'Ye previously announced that he's dropped his own album in June, followed by a collaborative effort with Kid Cudi. In addition, he's also handling all of the production on Pusha T and Teyana Taylor's forthcoming project as well as Nas' album which is due out in June.
Thankfully, the rapper is off of social media and back in the studio. Hopefully, we'll receive a new single from him ahead of his album's release. It's about to be a Cruel Summer.
