Kanye West Stars In SNL's New Promo Ad

Kanye plays stoic in the new ad for the upcoming episode of SNL.

At the end of last month, rumors arose that suggested Kanye might follow up his Yeezy Season 3 extravaganza at Madison Square Garden with a special performance later in the week on Saturday Night Live. Yeezy Season 3, which also saw the unveiling of 'Ye's new album, The Life of Pablo, went off without a hitch yesterday, and Kanye also used the occasion to confirm his imminent appearance on SNL.

He also announced that one of his Yeezy Season 3 models, Young Thug, who also featured on the TLOP track "High Lights," would be joining him on the SNL stage on Saturday night.

A day later, SNL has released its usual promo spot, and the clip indeed features Kanye, as well as actress Melissa McCarthy, who will host the show, and SNL regular Taram Killam.

Though Kanye has been at his boldest in the weeks leading up to his new album and clothing line -- especially on Twitter -- he doesn't say a word in the new SNL ad. In fact, his face remains totally motionless the whole time. Regardless, we're looking forward to what's sure to be an exciting performance, especially with Thugger on the bill.

The episode airs tomorrow (Feb. 13) at 11:30pm EST.
