Kanye West is reportedly allowed to do as he pleases on the MTV VMAs stage this year.
This year's MTV VMAs is shaping up to be quite the event. Recently it was announced that Future would be performing on the MTV VMAs stage for the very first time, as well as Mac Miller's rumored boo Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, Pharrell and the biggest of them all, Rihanna. RiRi will also be honored at the awards show with the Vanguard Award.
In addition to a strong list of artists set to perform, Kanye West will be hitting the stage, doing we have no idea what. It's being reported today that Yeezy has four minutes over takeover time on the MTV VMAs stage, where he's allowed to do whatever he wants-- rap, talk, nothing at all. The MTV head honchos have reportedly given him free rein to do as he pleases during his stage time. You'll recall that it was at last year's MTV VMAs where Kanye announced his Presidential bid for the 2020 election.
What do you think he's going to do this year? The MTV VMAs air this Sunday, August 28th from Madison Square Garden in New York City. View the list of nominees here.
