Kanye's SNL performance of "Highlights" and "Ultralight Beam" over the weekend was for the most part a success. But according to reports, the performance almost got scrapped. A source told Page Six that “moments before the live show, and during the live show, Kanye had a meltdown and threatened to walk off."
“It had something to do with the set,” said the source. “Kim, who was in the audience with Kylie Jenner, had to come down. Lorne had to personally talk to Kanye. There were a few really tense minutes."
According to Page Six, Kanye was upset with the set design, which included little more than an LED screen.
Kanye's new found interest in Twitter has immeasurably enriched the collective Twitter experience and also raised questions about his mental health. TLOP has been released but he's still hunkered down in the studio working on the final, final album cut... stay tuned y'all.
