Despite the numerous attempts at "canceling" Kanye West, the Chicago native's voice is still heard and making headlines anytime he decides to tweet or open his mouth. He was surrounded by controversy this whole year from his comments about slavery sounding "like a choice" to his contentious meeting with Trump in the oval office. It's fair for anyone to try and block Kanye from their social media timelines, but thanks to this new Google Chrome extension, you could completely block any sort of news relating to Ye.
Team BNE has created a Google Chrome plug-in that many people have been looking for this year: SnoozYe. The extension provides those who download it the opportunity to block out all news related to the College Dropout creator.
"We can all agree that Kanye West is a musical genius. But in a time when our political climate is in disarray, his “genius” (or however you’d like to call it) has become pretty exhausting," reads the caption on their YouTube video. "That’s why a group of tired Kanye fans in New York have set out to give the world the rest it needs with the SnoozYe Chrome extension. Downloading the free extension allows fans and ex-fans a chance to block out all Kanye-related news from entering their personal feeds for a day, a week, until Yandhi drops or however long they need."
