It's been one of the most eventful years in Kanye West's career. The rapper delivered his album, Ye and his joint effort with Kid Cudi, Kids See Ghosts within a week apart from each other. Although great bodies of work, the problem with both projects was that 'Ye worked until the last minute to turn both of them in. Thankfully, it seems like he learned his lesson and he's making sure his next project, Yandhi is flawless before it's ready for public consumption. The bad part about it is that he's pushed back the release date for Yandhi.
Although we were all looking for to listening to Yandhi next week, we'll have to wait a little bit longer. Following the debut of Kids See Ghosts alongside Kid Cudi last night at Camp Flog Gnaw, Kanye revealed that he'll be pushing the album back until further notice.
"It felt so good being on the stage last night with my brother Cudi," he wrote on Twitter. "After performing again, I realize the new album I’ve been working on isn’t ready yet. I’ll announce the release date once it’s done. Thank you for understanding."
This is the second time Kanye's delayed album's release. The project was initially supposed to be released on September 29th, the same weekend Lil Wayne dropped Tha Carter V. However, the release date came and went without any sign of the project dropping. Kim Kardashian (thankfully) updated fans with a new release date set for Nov. 23rd after he said he needed to complete the album in Africa.
