Earlier this week, Tory Lanez shared on Instagram that if he has to bring a gun to an event in order to feel safe, then that's not the type of event he should attend. Today (June 17), Juicy J posted a series of controversial tweets about weapons as well, and he received so much backlash that he deleted a few of them. "I never tried to be some tough guy for attention, but I keep 3 straps on me at all time," Juicy J wrote. "I will shoot if I have to I don't care about jail."

The rapper was accused of inciting violence, something that he returned to clarify. "I didnt say go out & sh—t somebody y’all taking my tweet out of context I was trying to explain to y’all we have to do what we have to do to protect ourself & our family I prefer all of you to be none violent but that’s impossible," Juicy J added. "Nobody wants to go to jail I have a friend of mine doing life but if you are in a situation kill or be killed you wouldn’t have time to worry about jail."

One fan asked him if he could rap about things that are more positive. "I’m trying to give y’all more positivity in my music but right now we are living in a violent world I rahther everybody chill & smoke weed." Seeing that his tweets made a few people angry, the Memphis rapper removed the first two because he said he just wanted everyone to "soak up good energy." Check out his tweets below.
