These days, the hottest young artists are using collaborations to build exposure for their own product. Lil Yachty is working on tapes with Takeoff, Lil Pump, and Trippie Redd. Quavo linked up with Travis Scott. 21 Savage teamed up with Offset and XXXTentacion is working with Joey Bada$$. No less than a few days removed from Kanye West and Kid Cudi's major Kids See Ghosts collaborative album, Juice WRLD and Ski Mask the Slump God announced their plans to take over in a similar way. While the two are nowhere near Ye or Cudi's level, they have both been on a strong come-up, viewed as two of the top young talents in the game. Teasing their upcoming mixtape, a Juice WRLD affiliate posted a video of the two freestyling, getting us ready to hear what the two could potentially come up with.

Feeding off of each other's energy, Juice took main vocal duty as he spat whatever was on his mind. Ski took what Juice was handing out, accentuating his flow through his ad-libs. The two went in as they routinely do, getting fans of both artists excited for their mixtape, which does not yet have a release date. In the early stages of planning, Juice and Ski seem to have good chemistry, bouncing ideas off each other and discovering appropriate melodies in real time.

While the two are laughing and having a good time in the video, they may have hit a goldmine with the first freestyle as the two of their voices combined creates an interesting blend of styles that we are genuinely intrigued to hear more of.
