JR Writer was recently released from prison, after serving an almost-two-year sentence. The rapper got out at the beginning of the month, and quickly did some press on HOT 97 with an Ebro in the Morning interview, where he discussed his time behind bars. Now he's also made a return to the music, releasing two new songs on his SoundCloud under the name Zeus.
This leak, "First 48," with production from Yung Theseus, was apparently recorded within the first 48 hours of JR's freedom. The second record is aptly-titled "Welcome Back," you can peep that one here.
