Marcus Benjamin Foster (born November 19, 1987), better known by his stage name Jouce is an American rapper, producer and songwriter from Palmdale, California. Jouce began writing music at the age of 9 and has been steadily paving his way to that number one spot with a few notable singles and exclusive mixtapes. Jouce has been featured on many blog sites and participated in several online rap battle competitions which have generated quite some buzz for this up and coming superstar. Some of which he has gotten major recognition for and gained the interest of industry legends such as Steve Rifkind and Peter Rosenberg. In addition to industry recognition Jouce has placements with The Cleveland Cavaliers, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and WWS Magazine just to name a few. Jouce owns and operates his own conglomerate consisting of a multimedia company “Team Jouce Media” and record label “Hard Critics”. The argument as to whether life inspires art or art inspires life is a fruitless one caters to Jouce because it’s true either way. Jouce’s challenging upbringing growing up in an uncertain home-life proved to be the motivation to change his life for the better and become a multifaceted musician. It can be positive cycle of growth or a vicious circle of negativity. Jouce is influenced by Jay Z, Dr. Dre, Cassidy, Snoop, Tupac, Eminem, Ludacris, Fabulous, Lil Wayne, Kanye West and his peers. His most anticipated mixtape “Corrupted Minds” hosted by Power 106’s very own DJ Inferno is dropping May 14 and he has been attaining much success from his single “BOD”. Jouce’s experience and significant fan base has definitely put him amongst the elite of the next up and coming superstars.
