Jon Bellion Feat. Travis Mendes
We haven’t heard much from Jon Bellion in a while, but he’s clearly been hard at work perfecting his craft. “Guillotine” gets us reacquainted with the singer with the help of Travis Mendes.
Woke The Fuck Up
Jon Bellion has emerged as the latest Visionary Music artist on our radar. Unlike Logic, Bellion is a singer/songwriter with a clear pop sensibility. Though his tracks have a peripheral hip-hop aesthetic, his talents clearly lie in his singing voice, which he isn't afraid to show off on his latest track, "Woke the Fuck Up." The song focuses on an epiphany that hits Bellion smack in the face-- he needs to wake the fuck up, man up, and get the girl. Though Visionary is full of different sounds, it's clear they're intent on pushing independent artistry.
All Time Low
Whether or not you know Jon Bellion by name, you probably know his work. The singer is a part of Logic's Visionary Music Group collective, but you've also heard him on the radio, as Bellion is responsible for penning the hook sung by Rihanna on Eminem's smash record, "The Monster".
Visionary Music Group's Jon Bellion dropped off his last project, The Definition, in September, and since then, we really haven't heard from him at all. Today, he ends the drought with a new one called "Woodstock." It seems to be loosely based around the singer imagining himself at the 1969 festival, although the song itself sounds about as far from the festival's rock and roll as you can get.
Jon Bellion Feat. Audra Mae
Visionary Music Group's Jon Bellion is best known as a co-writer of Eminem and Rihanna's "The Monster," but starting with last year's free album, The Separation, the dude's been carving out a nice solo career for himself. Later this fall, he'll release a new one entitled The Definition, and now we've received a second track from the project.
Jon Bellion is an artist we first got familiar with when he received some writing credits for Eminem's huge record with Rihanna "The Monster." We spoke to him at the time about how that all happened, following which, he dropped off a free album The Separation.
Logic Feat. QuESt , Castro & Jon Bellion
The Visionary Music Group artists, consisting of Logic, QuESt, Castro and Jon Bellion, were all in the studio last night and decided to spit a little something special for Logic's 24th birthday, hence the freestyle title. All four artists are currently at work on their respective project: Logic is at work on his debut album, Castro and QuESt are both finishing up their free albums, while Jon Bellion is also working on a free LP.
When The Lions Come
Jon Bellion Feat. Castro, Logic & Blaque Keyz
You may or may not be aware of singer Jon Bellion. We introduced you to the Visionary Music Group artist back in November when we talked to him about writing the hook for Eminem's single "The Monster." Today he returns with his second free album, The Separation, which showcases his songwriting and production skills.
