No official word on what the arrests were for, but it’s presumably marijuana related. Funny enough, it appears as if Joey doesn’t know what he’s hand cuffed for either. With the news hitting Instagram, Joey is seen in the clip below hysterically laughing as he asks the cop: “Have you figured out why I’m in these handcuffs? Have you figured it out? Yo, they don't know why I'm in these handcuffs.”

Of the many things that old heads will insist "were better back in the day," diss tracks are among the few that most younger rap fans can also agree upon. Even if you didn't live through them, the 2Pac / Biggie, Eazy-E / Dr. Dre and Jay Z / Nas beefs all produced shot-firing tracks that still loom large today-- Notorious' "Who Shot Ya" is still referenced by rappers all of the time, and Nas' "Ether" is now so baked into the foundation of rap that its title is now synonymous with a devastating diss.

Review: Joey Bada$$' "B4.DA.$$"
Review: Joey Bada$$' "B4.DA.$$" Jan 23, 2015 at 02:40pm
Joey Bada$$ is a young Brooklyn emcee who was influenced by those who came before him from his region, the same way most young rappers from any region show clear influence from those who came before them in their region. As rappers from other regions have begun to dwarf New York rappers in popularity and New York rappers have begun taking more influence from other regions, some have viewed Bada$$’ New York influenced style as a flaw.
