Raury's RAURFEST 2016 Will Host Joey Bada$$, Kirk Knight, Lion Babe & More
It's been a while since Raury last dropped off new music, but in case you were wondering how he's been holding up, the eclectic 20-year-old already has his own festival, RAURFEST, which is now in its third year. And this year's festival, taking place on Saturday, July 2, is absolutely free. This year's headliners are Joey Bada$$ and, of course, Raury himself. Also on the lineup is another Pro Era member in Kirk Knight as well as Kilo Kish and the duo known as Lion Babe. More acts will be announced soon.
Joey Bada$$ Suggests The NYPD Cancelled His Irving Plaza Show
It has only been about a week since the shooting which killed 1, injured 4 and landed Troy Ave in jail took place at T.I.'s Irving Plaza show, and the incident may have affected Joey Bada$$' event at the venue. According to Joey, the show has been cancelled, something he credited to the NYPD, before deleting the tweet. Shortly thereafter, he tweeted out the location of an alternative event going on today at 4PM.

Pro Era's Steez Day Festival Is Moving To The West Coast This Year

Specifically, he’s moving his Steez Day Festival, which debuted at Central Park’s Summer Stage in 2015, to the west coast. The inaugural Steez Day Festival featured Pro Era, Flatbush Zombies, The Underachievers, Smoke DZA, A$AP Ferg and more, all gathering for the purpose of raising money for Steez’s family.
