The other week, Joey Bada$$ revealed that the annual Steez Day, a music festival honoring his late Pro Era member Capital Steez, would be relocating from Brooklyn to L.A. this year. We didn't have the line-up at that time, but with tickets going on sale tomorrow at Noon, Joey has just unveiled the artists this morning.

Talib Kweli can usually be found debating, arguing, or flat out beefing with his Twitter followers. On Tuesday, he responded to a tweet that suggested that there are no one today matches the artistry of golden era greats like Rakim and A Tribe Called Quest. “I disagree,” Kweli wrote. “RTJ, Joey Badass, Kendrick, Cole, Rapsody, Anderson Paak Chance, all great on the way to legend.”
Pro Era's Steez Day Festival Is Moving To The West Coast This Year
Despite being a New Yorker to the core, Joey Bada$$ is heading west for a less muggy climate. Specifically, he’s moving his Steez Day Festival, which debuted at Central Park’s Summer Stage in 2015, to the west coast. The inaugural Steez Day Festival featured Pro Era, Flatbush Zombies, The Underachievers, Smoke DZA, A$AP Ferg and more, all gathering for the purpose of raising money for Steez’s family.
